Black Country Impact

Black Country Impact supports unemployed young people and adults in overcoming barriers that are preventing them from progressing into education, employment and training.

You can sign up for the programme if you:

• Live in Sandwell, Walsall, Dudley or Wolverhampton
• Are not in education, training or employment
• Are aged between 16 – 29 years

How will Impact support me?

• 1-2-1 Mentor and PA support for as long as you need
• Information, advice and guidance based on your interests and current labour market needs
• Access to programmes that are of interest to you

• Maths, English and ICT
• Gaining practical qualifications such as CSCS Cards
• Exploring your job ideas and developing your career plans
• Accessing work tasters
• Improving your self-esteem and confidence
• Mental health issues
• CV and interview preparation
• Interview clothes
• Relevant travel costs
• Developing your life skills (for example, time and budget management)
• Developing your employability skills
