Dudley: Courses: Level 2 Health & Social Care and Level 2 Customer Service

Walsall: Courses: Level 2 Health & Social Care and Level 2 Customer Service

Wolverhampton:  Courses: Level 2 Business and Level 2 Customer Service

  • All offers also include Work Experience, Maths, English and ID passport
  • The ID Passport is a programme to prepare young adults for the world of work and adult life. It covers mental health, healthy lifestyles, finance, employability and environmental sustainability.
  • If the you have below  Grade 4 in English/Maths, SCL can help upskill you. GCSE re-sits may be possible  if you achieved Grade 3 in these subjects.
  • All Centres have a full-time mentor that can help with any barriers to learning or personal issues.

A Mentoring Programme: There is 1:1 support available for anyone who feels that they would benefit from some additional support around their social and emotional wellbeing. 

Enrichment 

We offer a smaller learning environment, as we are smaller than mainstream college, therefore ensuring we can offer wrap around support for young people and where needed tailor the support to the individual.

  • Everyone can also apply for Bursary
  • Work experience in their chosen area.
  • Access to our Career Advisors

The aim is to help all young people to progress onto an Apprenticeship/Supported Internship, job with training, a job or college if it is appropriate.

GCSE English and maths re-sits for those that achieve a Grade 3; or,

Functional Skills up to Level 2 for those that achieved a GCSE grade 2 or below or did not complete the exams.

BKSB is used to assess levels and check level of learning to give us a starting point to support re-sits and learning.
